Something I did for another TrekBBS contest (which I won), which was to design an alien ship in the same basic configuration as the Constitution class. I decided to go with a Romulan version. Many people have thought that the original Bird of Prey took many cues from Federation designs, hinting at a bit of espionage. So I guess this is what would happen if the Romulans weren't so subtle with their copying.

Used a mix of Gimp, Inkscape and Sketchup for this one. Had to use Sketchup to make a very basic 3D model just so I could get the perspective right, and to find a pleasing angle.
