The Starfighter from Buck Rogers. This was originally proposed to be the Viper for Battlestar Galactica, and the concept was reused for Buck Rogers.

I had a toy Starfighter when I was a kid, I had that and an X-Wing to dogfight each other, ahhhh the good old days.

Lucky! All I had was one of those "just off-screen" Star Wars ships that was barely bigger than the action figure.
